Ms. Sue Ellen (Guffey) Gilbert of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at her residence in Clinton County, Kentucky, having attained the age of 44 years, 3 months, and 5 days. She was born in Albany, Kentucky on Monday, June 1, 1981, the daughter of Rex & Betty (Walker) Guffey. She was of Baptist faith, a loving homemaker and loved spending time with her children. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Henry & Edna Guffey, maternal grandparents, Curtis & Martha Walker, step-grandmother, Barbara Walker.

She is survived by her parents, children, Katie (& Cody) Burchett, Baylee Barrett, and Daniel Gage Barrett, brother, Chris Guffey, and niece, Torrie Guffey.

The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. C.S.T. in The Memory Chapel of the Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Davis officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 5-8 p.m. C.S.T, and again on Tuesday morning beginning at 6 a.m. until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Burchett Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
