Mrs. Nancy Jo (Stearns) Coffey of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky, having attained the age of 69 years, 3 months, and 30 days. She was born in Franklin, Indiana on Sunday, May 6, 1956, the daughter of Esber & Gloria (Hollers) Stearns. She was of Christian faith and a Messianic Jew, a loving homemaker, who found joy in bird watching and treasured time with her children. In her younger years, she especially enjoyed horseback riding.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Dale Coffey, whom she wed on Wednesday, October 13, 1976, daughter, Melinda Jo (Longwell) Coffey, siblings, Virgina (Stearns) Patrick, Diann Stearns, Larry Stearns, and Earl Stearns.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Dale Coffey of Albany, Kentucky, siblings, Clyde (& Brenda) Stearns, Nova Stearns, Brenda Bricker, all of Albany, Kentucky, and Betty (& Bobby) Mann of Russell County, Kentucky, grandchildren, Zachary Longwell, Gabrielle Longwell, Rayleigh Longwell, Lucas Longwell, Isaiah Coffey, Adalynn Coffey, Adyn Coffey, and great-grandchildren, Melorie Longwell and Wrenleigh Longwell.

The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. C.S.T. in The Memory Chapel of the Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Clyde Stearns and Chris Coffey officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 beginning at 9:00 a.m. C.S.T. until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Lands Chapel Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, contributions appreciated to the Nancy Coffey Memorial Fund, c/o Campbell-New Funeral Home.
