Private Graveside Funeral Services for Tommy Stover, age 66, of Cookeville, Tennessee, were conducted on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Algood City Cemetery.
Friends and family officiated.
Tommy was born on Sunday, September 28, 1958, in Cookeville, Tennessee, to Carole Gaw Stover of Cookeville, Tennessee, and the late Minor Smith Stover.
He passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Bethesda Health Care Center.
Tommy was a business entrepreneur. He had traits carried on from his father to “wheel and deal”. He enjoyed racing, both cars and motorcross, hosting monster truck shows, and flea markets.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Danica Stover

grandchildren, Abril Stover and Jayla Stover
sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Keith Phillips
brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Farah Stover
and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews
His family expresses special thanks to Bethesda Health Care Center, Standing Stone Care and Rehabilition Center, and to the many doctors and nurses at Cookeville Regional Medical Center that have helped him during his many years of sickness by providing him and his family with such genuine love and care. The special angels God sent to him are too numerous to list by name.
