Funeral Services for Ronnie Bohannon, age 82, of Monterey, Tennessee, will be conducted on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 12:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Tony Phipps and Rev. Ronnie Wilson will officiate with interment to follow in the Pine Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Bohannon was the 6th child born to the late Horace and Maggie Vaden Bohannon on Friday, October 1, 1943, in Monterey, Tennessee. He married the love of his life, Agnes Threet on January 5, 1966, and together they built a beautiful life and raised three daughters, Ronda, Melissa, and Carrie. Mr. Bohannon passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at his home. Throughout Ronnie’s life, he worked hard to provide for his family. His career took him to Michigan for several years before he and Agnes returned home to Tennessee and he began working as a delivery driver where he ended his career with over 25 years of service with Pepsi. In his free time, Ronnie enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He especially enjoyed teaching his grandsons to hunt, fish, and to mechanic and restore his prized Duster. Later in life, Ronnie found great comfort and joy in the company and care provided by his devoted caregivers. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Ronda Bohannon, Melissa and James Harris, Carrie and Scott Holpp; grandchildren, Stephanie (Dave) Harding, Loren (Morgan) Wells, Gary Kyle (Kaylin) Jones, Matthew (Marka) Phillips, Dale (Jacey) Bohannon, Elizabeth Phillips, Kayla Holpp and Cheyenne Holpp; great grandchildren, Piper and Ollie Davis, Ruel and Caul Wells, Dylan, Hattie, Mason, and Jayleigh Bohannon; siblings, Wayne (Roseanne) Bohannon, Doris (Randol) Woolbright, and Gwen Jones; sister/brother-in-law, Gladys (Jimmy) Carmack; and special caregivers, Debbie Phipps, Brandy Stults, Judy Lowe, and Misty Colwell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Threet Bohannon; siblings, Ruth (Charles) Whitaker, Lucille Bartlett, and Jean (Robert) Kitchen.
