Wayne Inness, 63
Wayne Inness age 63 of Grandview, Tennessee died on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton, Tennessee.
He was born on May 3, 1962 in Danbury, Connecticut to the late Gabriel and Angela Joan Palumbo Inness and has been a resident of the area since 2014. Wayne was a graduate of New Milford High School in New Milford, Connecticut. He also attended Porter and Chester Institute. Wayne worked as an architect for many major companies during his working career. He enjoyed golfing with his friends and loved being a “Pop Pop” for his grandson. Wayne had also just recently written the book “Legacy of Silence” which was published by Amazon. He was of the Catholic faith.
Wayne is preceded in death by his brothers Jimmy and Gabriel Inness.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years Mary A. Garcia Inness of Grandview, Tennessee; his children Stephen Inness of Grandview, Tennessee and Sara (Jorel) Gregg of West Richland, Washington; his grandson Kalel Randall Gregg; his sister Joan (Rich) Reynolds of Sherman, Connecticut; and his brother Mitchell (Linda) Inness of Alabama.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. David Huber officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to the Rhea County Animal Shelter Alliance, 9118 Back Valley Road, Evensville, Tennessee 37332 in his memory.
