Beulah Louise Meadows Cottrell
January 13, 1938 – November 22, 2025
Beulah was the daughter of James Fred Meadows and Dora Louise Ruppee Meadows. She married her husband, Arthur Eugene Cottrell, on December 5, 1958.
She is survived by her children, Dianna Cottrell McCook and David Eugene Cottrell (Ashley Eller Cottrell), 5 grandchildren, Lindsey Marie McCook (Patrick), Sean Robert McCook (Ericka), Carter Eller Cottrell, David Henry Cottrell, and Anne Michael Cottrell, 3 great-grandchildren, Leo, Max, and Poppy, sister, Eulah Houston, sister-in-law, Carol Meadows, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Cottrell, parents, Fred and Dora Meadows, brothers, Vernon Meadows and James Meadows, son-in-law, Robert Lindsey McCook, brothers-in-law, Charles Houston, Alvin Cottrell, and Robert Gilliam, sisters-in-law, Viola Gilliam, Faye Wilson, and Wilda Cottrell Scott, and her beloved Bella, a Jack Russell Beagle mix who was her constant companion for 15 years.
Beulah was loving, kind, caring, and well-loved by all. She had a wonderful sense of humor and kept her family laughing daily.
She worked as a custodian at First United Methodist Church in Crossville for about 20 years. She especially enjoyed seeing all the children in the Mother’s Day Out program each day.
She will be cremated, and a graveside service is planned for December 6, 2025 at 11am at Crossville City Cemetery.
