David Franklin Smith, age 64, of Kingston, TN passed away Friday, November 28, 2025 at his home. David was born in Anderson, South Carolina, raised in Columbia, South Carolina and was of the Baptist faith. He lived in Tennessee for 35 years where his career was with Goody’s Family Clothing. David had a huge love for Clemson football.

Preceded in death by his father, John B. Smith, Jr.

Mother, Judy Eidam Cooper Smith,
Grandchildren, Calliope Jo and Kingsley,
Beloved dog, Tank.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston. Memorial Service to follow with Dr. Dale Darley officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Roane County Animal Shelter (296 Manufacturers Rd, Rockwood, TN 37854) or shelter of your choice or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105).
