William Lyle Eastburn, 88
William Lyle Eastburn, age 88, of Kingston passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Roane Medical Center in Harriman. He was born January 14, 1937 in Faulkton, South Dakota and was a graduate of Faulkton High School where he played football, basketball and was on the track team. After high school, he attended Wesley Methodist College in Minnesota for 2 years and then went on to Sowle Technical Community College in Lake Charles, Louisiana where he received an associate’s degree in electronic technology. William served his country proudly for 12 years in the United States Air Force, stationed in various bases across the county and abroad. While serving in the military he worked on electronic equipment and aircraft radar. After his military career William went to work for Hewlett Packard as a Bio-Medical Engineering Technician, retiring after 28 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling to many memorable places such as Alaska, Hawaii, Ireland, Wales, and England, where his family roots began. He also loved surfing the web in his spare time.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am–12:00 pm, Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Fraker Funeral Home with funeral service following at 12:00 pm, in the chapel with Rev. Paul Powel officiating.
