Emberly Ann Jean Nation, age 13, went home to be with the Lord January 13, 2026. She was born April 30, 2012.

She is survived by her parents Amber and Junior Nation; 2 siblings Shaylen and Kingsley Nation; maternal grandparents Lora and Lewis Seeber; great grandmother Evelyn Seeber; paternal grandparents Charlotte and Kevin Harting, Michael Dunn and Frank Nation; uncle Travis Seeber and Steven Stewart and Dustin Lowe; aunts Sarah Turnbill, Brianna Lowe, Shonnia, Amy and Katie, Lane, and a host of aunts and uncles.

She is preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents Rulie and Ellen Carroll, and Vestal Seeber; great paternal grandparents Gerwayne and Wilma Forythe and Ruth Nation; uncles and aunts Vestal Lynn Seeber, Janice Lisenbee, and Larry Carroll.

Emberly came into the world fighting at 24 weeks, weighing 1 lb and 8 oz. She fought many health battles through her young life, but always with a smile on her face and God by her side. She had a smile that would melt anyone. She enjoyed her cartoons, anything pink, bright, and unicorn related. Her time here on earth has been surrounded by ones who loved her more than anything and only knew love in this world.

Her time here on earth has been short but has enriched everyone who has had the privilege to have known her and loved her deeply.

A great appreciation for all the wonderful doctors, nurses, caregivers, and EMT’s that have been there for her throughout her thirteen years of life.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Schubert Funeral Home from 11:00-1:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Roger Burchfield, and Bro. Tim Ward officiating.

The family ask instead of flowers, contribution be made to Schubert Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
