Debbie Hernandez 62 of Dayton, Tennessee passed away Wednesday January 14, 2026 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

She was born December 7, 1963 in Avon Park, Florida. Debbie was a lifelong resident of Rhea County, Tennessee. She attended Rhea County High School. Debbie worked in nursing homes as a Certified Nursing Assistant and as an assembler in an automotive parts factory. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Pearl McFalls Thompson, her son Christopher Loden and her sister Linda Whitted.

Survivors include her son Chad Loden of London, Kentucky, brothers Josh (Deb) Thompson of Dayton, Tennessee, Donnie (Ann) Thompson of Grandview, Tennessee and Billy Joe (Darlene) Thompson of Spring City, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 2:00P.M. in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Mt Sulphur Cemetery in Grandview, Tennessee. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00P.M. until 2:00P.M. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
