Mrs. Patricia Ann Long (Pat) age 85 of Wartburg passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026 at Methodist Medical Center. She was a member of Mossy Grove Baptist Church and was a longtime member of the Petros Eastern Star.  She was retired as a lab tech from K-25 and was known for her cooking skills working as a caterer.  Pat was a wonderful sister and friend and was like a mother to all her siblings, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Louise (Nance) Mullins; Husband, Estel Long; Siblings, Virgil Lee, Rayford, Doug, Danny, Baby Allen Keith Mullins and Helen Ray;

She is survived by her sisters, Phyllis (Tony) Dutton; Pam (Harral) Bryant, Linda Coker, Emily (Gary) Conleay and Robin Hall;  And a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great Nephews;

The family would like to thank Quality Home Health and also the nurses at MMC for all their compassion and support.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 1-2:00 at Mossy Grove Baptist Church. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 with Pastor Jim Disney officiating. Interment will follow in the Estes Cemetery, Coalfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Shriners or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
