Samuel “Glenn” Daniels, 86
Mr. Samuel “Glenn” Daniels, age 86, of Harriman, passed away on January 24, 2026, at
Jamestown Assisted Living.
Glenn and his siblings were all raised in Harriman, Tennessee, a place he proudly called home. Glenn worked for the Harriman Housing Authority and Tennessee Forging Steel. He enjoyed many hobbies, especially fishing and playing horseshoes. He often competed in local horseshoe tournaments in Harriman, frequently winning both singles and doubles competitions. He took great pride in keeping his yard neat and beautifully landscaped and was always willing to lend a helping hand to his neighbors.
Glenn had a servant’s heart and participated in mission trips to Native American reservations in
New Mexico. When he wasn’t working or helping others, you could often find him on the Little
Emory River in his fishing boat, casting a line for crappie and bass.
Glenn will be remembered for his strong work ethic, kind spirit, and love for his family,
community, and simple pleasures in life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mabel and William Daniels; his sisters, Annalee
Huddleston and Sara Jane Smith; his brother, Claude Daniels; and his beloved pet, Buddy.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Ellen Daniels; his son, Kyle Daniels; his step-son, Chris
Inman and wife Kim Inman; granddaughters, Megan Snow and husband Dustin Snow, and
Courtney Inman and partner Scott Bridges; along with several nieces, nephews, and great-
grandchildren.
Service arrangements will be posted as soon as they are available.
Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg is honored to serve the family of Mr. Samuel “Glenn” Daniels during this time.
