Thomas Robert Finley was born on November 21, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Julia and Donald Finley. He died peacefully, surrounded by family, on January 27, 2026, at Park West Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. He graduated from The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Tom worked for nearly 40 years at the Boys & Girls Club. He was a lifelong supporter of the Green Bay Packers and Michigan State Spartans, taking great pride in cheering for his favorite teams. He is survived by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Finley, of Lafayette, Indiana; his sister, Cathleen Bleidorn; his three children, Scott (Dee) Finley, Peter Finley, and Kelly (Matt) Carlson; eight grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Jack. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
