Betty Jo (Moore) Hall, 92
Betty Jo (Moore) Hall passed away on Friday February 6, 2026, at the age of 92.
She was the beloved daughter of Logan and Grace Moore; the devoted wife of John (Red) Hall; and the proud mother of two sons, Kenneth and Barry. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sons, and her older brother, Kenneth Moore.
Betty was born and raised in Oliver Springs, Tennessee, and spent her entire life in the community she loved. She and John shared a life rooted in partnership and devotion, doing nearly everything together. Whether traveling on cruises and road trips across the United States, or doing home improvement projects, they were rarely apart.
Betty worked at Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Center before accepting a position with the Roane County School System, where she dedicated many years of service before retiring after approximately 23 years.
She loved God, her family, and her many dear friends. Betty was kind, gentle, understanding, and genuinely fun to be around. She will be deeply missed by her surviving friends, her cherished grandchildren, Wes Hall and Stefanie Monroe; her great-grandchildren, Eva, Leo, and Jacob; and her daughter-in-law, Terri Hall.
A graveside service will be held at Anderson Memorial Gardens on Saturday, February 14, 2026, 2:00 pm. Pastor Kirk Wallace will be officiating.
