Mr. Bill J. Oliver, age 79, of Jamestown, Tn, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026, peacefully at his home.

He was born on Thursday, August 1, 1946, to the late William C. and Bertha Oliver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers.

Bill was a painter for 60 years and made many friends throughout this time. He enjoyed talking to people and helping others any chance he could. He also enjoyed his family and Greatest Grandson.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Wanda Oliver, two daughters Allison and Melanie, and a stepson Jody Nunnally, granddaughters Kyla Cook and husband Blake, and Kelsea Dawkins, his greatest grandson Raylan L. Cook, and 2 brothers Vernon and Leslie Oliver of Richmond, VA.

The family has chosen cremation and A Celebration of Life will be held on February 14, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Crosstie Baptist Church, 1145 Roanoke Road, Jamestown, Tn.
