Lucille “Lucy” Mee Clemons, age 88, of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center in Monterey, Tennessee.

Mrs. Clemons was born on Wednesday, March 31, 1937, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Billie Mee and Hazel Mayberry Mee.

Mrs. Clemons retired from McCord-Winn/Textron and always enjoyed attending reunions and played an important role. She also enjoyed attending Bangham Class Reunions. She loved working in her yard and always had beautiful flowers.

She is survived by,

3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law,
Helen and Mike Davenport of Mt. Juliet, TN
Jeanette and James Don Jennings of Cookeville, TN
Nyoka Foister of Monterey, TN

2 grandsons/wives,
Kevin and Kim Davenport and Chris and Erin Davenport of Mt. Juliet, TN

4 great grandchildren, Cameron Davenport, Carson Davenport, Madison Davenport, and Henry Davenport all of Mt. Juliet, TN

brother, Robert Mee of Cookeville, TN

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Gilliam; grandsons, Jayson Lowhorn and Jacob Lowhorn; brother, Luther Mee; son-in-law, James Foister; and husbands, Loyd Barnes, Charles Gilliam, and Mack Clemons.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the care and compassion she received during her stay in the Rocky Top Unit at Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center with a special thank you to nurses Rhonda and Pam, and CNAs Cindy, Kayla, and Jody.

Her wishes of cremation are being honored with no services planned at this time.
