On Friday February 6, 2026, Victor Jay Patterson of Frost Bottom Tennessee left his earthly body and went to Heaven. Born on December 29, 1958, to parents Leamon and Joyce Kennedy.

Besides his parents he was proceeded in death by many other loved ones; Lassie Magnolia Webb Key Patterson, Larry Colston, Elaina Patterson, Kimberlie Wohlford and a host of other family and friends.

Victor is survived by many who love him including his children and grandchildren; Brandy, Magnolia, Bentley, Brittanie, Elizabeth, John, Joseph, Skylar, Benjamin (Savannah), and Lincoln (Lexie). And many other family members include Cindy, Tony, Keri Russell, David Patterson, Sheila, Jerry, Stephanie, Stacey, Brenda, Phyliss, Diane, Leisa, Missy, Danny, Tammy, and Ollie, Mary and Becky Rainey. Special friends: Rosanne Sirios, Amber Lowe, Carrie Moses and Treasure and a special thank you to Brian and Hannah for the unconditional love and support to Victor and his family during his last days.

Victor lived life to the fullest and if you knew him you agree that he was rude, crude, and socially unacceptable. When you would see Victor, you could always expect him in coveralls with a Mtn Dew in hand. He rode the open highway on a Harley Davidson. Victor was a coal miner, a truck driver, heavy equipment operator and a mechanic during his working years. A jack of all trades. He was also an avid fisherman, a ladies’ man, and had a love for all things history, trivia and music. Above everything else that Victor was amazing at his two most important titles were Papaw and Dad. He was superman to his children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. with funeral services to be held at 2:00 P.M. Graveside service will be held following the funeral at Frost Bottom Cemetery.
