Ms. Seretha L. (Smith) Scroggins of Albany, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at her residence in Clinton County, Kentucky, having attained the age of 62 years, 7 months and 13 days. She was born in Clinton County, Kentucky on July 22, 1963, the daughter of Ruben & Ostie (Kennedy) Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Rubin “Ricky” Smith, Dee Smith, Lonzo Smith, Lloyd “Hack” Smith, Camel Duvall, Ora Lee Starns, and Elgie Barnes.

She is survived by her special friends of 43 years, Raymond Brown, children, David (& Dawn) Scroggins, Amy (& Steve) Booher; siblings, Georgia Reynolds, and Tony Smith; grandchildren, Joshua Osborne (& Jennifer Welch), and Bradley Scroggins; and great-grandchild, Alyssa Welch.

The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 1:00 pm CST in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Stacy Evans officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2026, beginning at 12:00 pm CST until the funeral hour.
