Flo Ann “Sue” Lawson, age 84, of Crossville, passed away March 17, 2026. She was born May 10, 1941, in Pikeville, Tennessee, the daughter of Tommy and Liz Angel Ferguson. She retired after more than 30 years from Lake Tansi Village as a housekeeper and later worked as a caregiver for a few years before fully retiring. She was of the Baptist faith. Her grandchildren, was her passion in life and she loved doing yard sales, Sonic, and ice cream with them. She loved listening to George Jones and will also be remembered as an excellent cook.

She is survived by her daughter: Barbara Turner (Floyd) of Crossville; grandchildren: Melissa Henry (Ronnie) of Lancing, Tiffany Guy (Zack) of Crossville, Faith Myers (Camdon) of Crossville, Carrie Swafford (Donover) of Spencer, and Johnathan Lawson of Crossville; and great-grandchildren: Drake Henry, Silas Henry, Bryar Henry, Layla Henry, Hunter Guy, Brylee Guy, Maverick Guy, Lexi Swafford, Brittany Swafford, April Swafford, Joseph Lawson and Hayden Lawson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: James Lawson; sons: Tony Lawson and Donnie Lawson; infant daughter, Christie Michelle Lawson; and brothers and sisters: Ruth, Tommy, William, Claude and Rolly.

Graveside service will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Thomas Springs Cemetery.
