Melinda “Mindy” Presley, age 58, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at U.T. Medical Center. Mindy was born on February 24, 1973, in Topeka, Kansas.

Mindy loved being outdoors — whether it was working in the yard, working on her homestead house, or simply walking through the woods looking for old stuff…and of course, ginseng.

Mindy was the beloved daughter of Alice and Eddie Polson and Thomas & Margaret Presley. She was the devoted mother of Taylor Hoskins and Trinity Presley. She adored her son-in-law, Tyler Hoskins. Her most favorite role was “Nay” to Arabella and Delilah. She is also survived by her siblings, Dina Presley, Andrea Scholes, Kim Barr, Wendy Fritzler, Amanda Cabanas, and Scottie Hodgins. Her nephews, Joseph and James Ryan held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her son: Tyson James Martin Young.

Mindy brought joy to those fortunate enough to share in her life. May her memory bring a smile to all who knew her.

Services will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m., with the service to follow. She will be laid to rest in Linary Cemetery immediately following the service.
