Merita Kay Roysdon, age 72, of Crab Orchard, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Jennings Funeral Home in Jamestown. Burial will follow in the Sharp Place Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Jennings Funeral Homes in Jamestown.

She is survived by her daughters: Linda Garren, Michelle Burgess, and Keith Astrauskas; grandchildren: Dakota Bunch, Kevin Burgess, Jr., Robert Matthewson (Samantha), Sarah Dyer (Troy), Skylar Garren, Ashley Garren, and Isaiah Burgess (fiancée Ashlyn); great-grandchildren: Kennedy, Kinslee, Josephine, Jaxtyn, Lainey, Charlie, Karlei, and Jaydin; brother: Gary Bowden (Rhonda); nephew: Nate Bowden; and a host of other family and friends

She was preceded in death by her husband: Elzo Roysdon; step-son, Jackie Mullins; parents: Okley and Ruth Aleen (Hoff) Bowden; and brother, Merrill Bowden.
