NETFLIX RAISING PRICES ON ALL STREAMING PLANS FOR 2ND TIME IN A YEAR
If you subscribe to Netflix, get ready for another price hike. This will be the second increase in a year.
Every subscription tier is being raised by at least $1.
The bottom tier, which includes ads, will now cost you $8.99 each month. The ad-free standard plan is jumping to $19.99 per month. The premium plan is going up to $26.99 each month. Add-on features, like extra users, are going up $1 per month.
The company is staggering the rollout of price changes. New members have already seen those higher prices implemented. Existing users will receive an email in the next few weeks, and the price adjustment will be applied roughly a month later.
Last year, the company said it was adjusting prices after reporting its biggest-ever subscriber jump.
