Shelia Dianna Alcorn-Self, 74

Shelia Dianna Alcorn-Self, age 74, of Clinton, TN, arrived to Heaven to be with her son and the Lord on March 20, 2026. She was surrounded by her family as she entered the Pearly Gates. She was brought onto to the Earth by the Lord to bless and touch everyone she came into contact with on November 1, 1951, and lived a life that was centered on love, family, faith, and the simple joys of being close to the people who meant the most to her.

Shelia found happiness in going on trips with her husband and taking part in church events. She also cherished sharing the word of the Lord, a reflection of what she held dear in her daily life. These moments were part of the way she lived, and they spoke to the steady devotion she carried throughout her years.

Above all else, Shelia treasured time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved being surrounded by her family and took great joy in spoiling them all. Her presence in their lives was a source of comfort, laughter, and affection, and the memories she helped create will remain deeply valued by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Nena Key; Steve Alcorn; her son, Gregory Steve Alcorn; and her siblings, Roger Darrell, Blaine Everett, Earl Eugene, James, Don, Ferrell, Steve, and Wanda Key. Their memory was part of the family story she carried throughout her life.

Shelia leaves behind her husband, Darrell Self; her daughter, Heather Alcorn, and partner, Bubba Russell; and her daughter-in-law, Debbie Alcorn. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brittani and Cody Armes, Kimberlie Dianna, Seth Alcorn, Stevie and Erin Alcorn, Alana Skyler and Andy Mincey, and Kylee Jordyn and Tyson Relford.

Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Brileigh Armes, Kylen Armes, Aurora Renee, Ash Xavier, Axel Steven, Olivia Gray, Koda Armes, Natalie Mae, Tyler Armes, Daisy Mae, Joseph Andrew, Eladee Fae, and Lorna Alcorn. Each of them was a precious part of her life, and each carries forward a connection to the love she shared so freely.

Shelia Dianna Alcorn-Self will be remembered with love by her family and all who were blessed to know her. The warmth she gave, the faith she shared, and the care she poured into her family leave behind a meaningful legacy that will continue to be felt for years to come. She will always be deeply loved by her husband all the way to Heaven.

Fraker Funeral Home of Kingston is honored to serve the family of Shelia Alcorn-Self.
