Retha Palmer, age 76, of Oliver Springs, TN was met by Jesus at the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

Retha was a woman who found joy in the simple and beautiful moments of life. She loved the outdoors and could often be found tending to her flower garden or adding her special touch through decorating. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her beloved husband, especially the many hours they shared fishing side by side, moments that brought her both peace and happiness.

Retha also enjoyed her time at home, faithfully watching her favorite show, Survivor and was a fan of Elvis Presley, whose music she cherished throughout the years.

Above all, Retha’s greatest love was her family. She adored her daughter and her grandchildren. Retha treasured every moment spent with her loved ones. Her family was truly her whole world, and she poured her heart into each one of them.

She is preceded in death by parents, Oliver and Lola Baker; beloved husband, Kenneth Palmer and baby sister Wanda Faye Baker.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Shannon Palmer (Robert May Jr.); son, Jeff (Racheal) Palmer; sister, Bonnie Stevens; and grandchildren: Holden Palmer, Aidan Palmer and Tristan Anderson, along with a host of other loved family members.

Retha will be remembered for her loving spirit, her gentle heart and the warmth she brought to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Anderson Memorial Gardens in Clinton, TN.
