David Carl McCoy, 71, of Crossville, TN, passed away on May 21, 2026. He was born on December 29, 1954, to Carl & Faye McCoy, in Crossville, TN. For many years, David was a fixture at Tri County Rentals where his expertise was deeply valued. A true country boy at heart, David enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family. He discovered joy in playing his guitar and developed a passion for woodcarving in his later years.

David is survived by his daughter, Georgia Faye Kennedy (David), his grandchildren, Malachi and Kaylee Kennedy, and his siblings, Rose Ann McCoy, Tom & Kathleen McCoy of McMinnville, and Tim & Tammy McCoy of Crossville, TN. David also leaves behind a host of loving family and friends who will dearly miss him. David was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Sitton McCoy, his parents, Carl & Faye McCoy, and his son, Tony Lee McCoy.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 12:00pm CDT at Crossville First Free Will Baptist Church, located at 1125 East 1st Street, Crossville, Tennessee, 38555. The funeral service will follow at the at 2:00pm CDT with burial at Elmore Cemetery.
