On May 29th and 30th, the Tennessee Bass Nation will host its state championship tournament in Kingston, drawing a large number of competitors and spectators.
Motorists are asked to be especially mindful of increased traffic around City Park, Gravel Pit, 58 Landing, and Ladd Landing boat ramp, as boats and anglers are expected to begin arriving around 4:00 a.m. each morning.
Two daily weigh-ins will take place at City Park, beginning at 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., which will bring heavier pedestrian traffic to the area. The Kingston Police Department will deploy extra officers to help manage traffic. Organizers wish all participants good luck and encourage everyone to help keep the roadways safe.
