John Michael “Johnny” Sullivan, age 51, of Hixson TN passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 4th 2026. He was born October 5th,1974 in Chicago IL and grew up in Paris TN.

Johnny will be remembered for his quiet strength, devotion to his family, and the values of hard work, loyalty, and kindness that he carried throughout his life. His legacy lives on through the generations of family who were fortunate to know and love him. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his family.

He is preceded in death by his wife Lisa Ann Lewis Sullivan, parents James Joseph “Jim” Sullivan and Rachel Penick Freeman Sullivan, brother Sully Patrick “Joey” Sullivan, sister Sandra Freeman Roberts, nephews Adam Lynn Roberts and Jason Robert Freeman.

He is survived by his daughter Laura Ann Sullivan Wright of Hixson TN, three sons Sebastian, Samuel and Solomon Sullivan, grandson Brayden Lee Willmore, granddaughter Olivia Ann Wright, brothers James (Tonya) Sullivan of Smithville TN, Bobby Freeman of Hallsville TX, sisters Marylou (Donald) Ball and Debbie (Paul) Hallimond both of Smithville TN, and sister Linda Kaye Yoshino of Plano TX. He is also survived by nieces Shay (Matt) Walters, Mallory (Andrew) Pfingstler, Jessica (Nathan) Nixon, Hannah (Kasey) Ball, Amber (James) Mead, Melissa (Todd) Bellaire, Keisha Dawn Roberts, Hannah (Joshua) Buck, Hailey (Jason) Wright and nephews James (Rachel) Ball, Michael Andrew Sullivan, Zachary Freeman Carter, David Blaine Freeman and many great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 P.M. CDT Thursday, July 16, 2026 in the Pikeville Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jordan Atnip officiating. Burial will be at Frazier Cemetery, Bledsoe County TN. The family will receive friends 1:00 P.M. CDT until service time Thursday.
