Nicolas Charles Daugherty, age 7, of Jamestown, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026. He was born on December 20, 2018, in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Though his time on earth was far too short, Nicolas filled the lives of those around him with an abundance of love, joy, and laughter. He had a kind and gentle heart that touched everyone he met. Nicolas especially loved the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Donatello was always his favorite!

Nicolas also had a deep love for church. One of the things he was most known for was greeting everyone with a warm hug. His hugs were sincere, freely given, and made people feel loved and welcomed. His bright smile, sweet spirit, and caring heart will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Although Nicolas’ passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family and friends, they find comfort in the precious memories he created and the lasting impact his young life made on so many people.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at First United Pentecostal Church, 875 S. Walnut Avenue, Cookeville, Tennessee 38501.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.

Burial will follow the services at 4:30 p.m. at Springs Chapel Cemetery, 1950 Roslin Road, Jamestown, Tennessee 38556.
