Steven Westphal, 32
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, brother, son, and friend, Steven Westphal, who passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 32.
Steven was born on October 21, 1993, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was known for his kind heart, love for his family, and the joy he brought to those around him. Steven had a passion for sports, especially Alabama football, and enjoyed spending his free time playing video games. Above all, he took the greatest pride in being a father. The time he spent with his children and the people he loved most meant everything to him.
Steven leaves behind a family who will cherish his memory forever: his mother and stepfather, Sharon Armes and Joshua Armes; his beloved children, Royalty Westphal and Steven Westphal Jr.; his brother and sister-in-law, Collin Moss and Ashtyn Moss; and his cherished nephew and niece, Stetson Moss and Stella Moss. He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were touched by his love, laughter, and presence.
Though his time with us was far too short, Steven’s memory will live on through the love he gave, the memories he created, and the lives he impacted. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
In Steven’s memory, his family hopes to encourage greater awareness of mental health and the importance of reaching out to those who may be struggling. They ask that his passing serve as a reminder to check in on the people you love, to offer compassion without judgment, and to seek help when life feels overwhelming. If sharing Steven’s story encourages even one person to ask for help or to support someone in need, his legacy will continue to make a meaningful difference.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs, TN. Visitation will take place from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M., with the funeral service immediately following at 12:00 P.M. After the service, family and friends will proceed to Oak Ridge Memorial for burial at 2:00 P.M.
Forever in our hearts, Steven’s love, laughter, and spirit will never be forgotten.
Sharp Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Steven Westphal during this time of need.
