Mrs. Shirley Faye Edwards, age 90 of Harriman, passed away August 2, 2026, at her home. She was a member of Trenton Street Baptist Church. She started working at Southern Bell as a Telephone Operator and retired from AT&T as an Engineer Clerk. Shirley loved UT Basketball, especially the Lady VOLS where she worked as an usher for 37 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren also eating out and meeting friends with Doug at Cracker Barrel.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Byrd & Ollie Monday

Brothers: Buster, Shorty and Ray Monday.

Sister: Audrey Monday.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years: Doug Edwards.

Daughter: Tammy Hope Edwards.

Sister: Ruth Waller.

Three grandchildren: Paige & husband Elliot Tucker, Courtney & husband Clint Jones, and Joshua Key.

Five great-grandchildren: Kaiden, Kyler, Callen, Jaxon, and Jordan.

And many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday August 6, 2026, at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM with Bro. Ottis Ball officiating. Graveside services will be Friday morning August 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM in Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood.
