Richard Lee Smith, age 85, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a rich legacy defined by family, fine craftsmanship, and a quick-witted sense of humor.

An avid outdoorsman and hands-on skill, Richard found immense joy in fishing, fast cars, and woodworking. Above all, his heart belonged to his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Patsy Jane Smith, and his grandson, Nathan Smith.

Richard is survived by his children: Paula (Beverly) Smith, Glen (Jenny) Smith, and Steve Smith; his cherished grandchildren: Eric Smith, Miranda (Greg) Eversole, and Sydney Smith; as well as several great-grandchildren who brought endless light and joy to his life. He was deeply grateful for the dedicated nurses and caregivers who provided compassionate support over the last several months.
