Kenna Layfield, of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee, and a former resident of St. Paris, Ohio for 36 years, went to his eternal home on September 9th, 2026.
He was born in Clarksburg on August 10, 1934, a son of the late Cleo Layfield and Helen Elizabeth Kyle Layfield Copenhaver, and the stepson of the late Jim Copenhaver.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Marianna Pinti Layfield, his sister Mary Cunningham.
He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces and great nephews, along with many friends.
He is also survived by his very special dear friend of 15 years, Barbara Harris. Ken was a faithful member of the Stevens Gap Church of Christ.
Visitation will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Friday, September 18th from 4:00 – 6:00 pm with a service to follow.
Burial will be at Bridgeport WV, at the Bridgeport Cemetery at a later date.
