Henry Arthur Roach, Jr., age 74 of Birchwood, passed away in the early morning of Friday, September 18, 2026, at his home. He was born in Chattanooga on February 19, 1952, the son of the late Henry Arthur Roach, Sr. and Betty Naomi (John) Reno Forgey. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Roach.

He lived in Birchwood, and Snow Hill in Ooltewah, was a dedicated police officer, a very loving husband, a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, and a wonderful father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Lee) Roach of Birchwood; his three children, Marty Roach, Rachel (Frank) Wilson, and Thomas Roach, all of Birchwood; his two grandchildren, Maddie (Tyler) Standridge of Cleveland, and Andrew Roach of Charleston; his two great-grandchildren, Winnie May Standridge and Daisy June Standridge; his four brothers; and his four sisters.

A graveside funeral service for Henry will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026, at McDonald Cemetery in Ooltewah.
