Pauline Sewell Biddle, 73

Pauline Sewell Biddle, age 73, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026, after a period of declining health. Born on August 29, 1953, in Holmes County, Florida, she was the beloved daughter of the late Marvin Sewell and Evelyn Summerlin.

Pauline grew up in the close-knit Sweet Gum Head, Florida community. She attended Ponce de Leon High School before continuing her education at a vocational school. A hard worker, she spent several years operating a folding press machine at the Van Heusen sewing factory in Geneva, Alabama. Throughout her life, Pauline lived in Samson, Geneva, and Westville, Alabama, before later moving to Tennessee.

Pauline was a woman of simple pleasures who will always be remembered for her immense kindness and deep love for animals. Later in life, she found great joy in spoiling her cherished pets, her cat Sassy Jean and her dog Mickey Joe. During her time as a resident at Standing Stone Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Monterey, Tennessee, she loved socializing with her friends, playing bingo, and eagerly looking forward to weekly visits from her daughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Willie Frank Sewell, and her sister Lois Hall.

She leaves behind a rich legacy of love and family. Pauline is survived by:
