Ali Express has issued three recalls for three different hair dryer products.
1. Foldable Travel Hair Dryers
  • Hazard: Lacks an immersion protection device, posing a risk of electrocution or shock if it falls into water while plugged in, violating federal regulations.
  • Remedy: Full refund; consumers must destroy the product by cutting the cord and send a photo to AliExpress.
  • Recall Date: April 03, 2025
  • Units: About 80
  • Description: Foldable travel hair dryers in blue, pink, and purple with a red switch, three gears, and “Guangmei 3858 hair dryer” printed on the side.
  • Sold: AliExpress.com, April 2022–January 2025, $4–$13.
