Mrs. Alma Lee Holloway Evans, age 76, a resident of Grandview, Tennessee passed away Monday, January 30, 2023, at the Rhea Medical Center, Dayton, Tennessee. She was born July 22, 1946, in Rockwood, Tennessee and was a lifelong resident of Grandview. Alma was of the Baptist Faith and was a wonderful Sister, Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jonas & Eva Holloway; husband Lester “Ray” Evans; sons, Alvin Evans, Richard Evans, and Jonathan Evans; and brothers and sisters, Maggie Miller, Dorothy Nelson, Mellie McNeal, Bonetta Rhear, Marie Janow, Betty Troglin, Berta Brock, J.A. Holloway, J.C. Holloway, and Diana McCampbell.

Survivors include:

Son & Daughter-in-law: Ronnie & Missy Evans of Grandview, TN

Grandchildren: Lillee Evans, Jonathan Evans, River Evans, Benjamin Evans, Megan Boyd, and Ashley Cagle

Sisters: Joann Janow (Ed) of Spring City, TN and Janet Grant of Spring City, TN

God-sent Daughter: Jean Lelko

And several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Bro. Randall Dye officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in the Mt. Sulphur Cemetery in Grandview, Tennessee.
