Andrea Gilliam Barger 45, of Spring City, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2026 at her residence. She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on April 24, 1981. A lifelong resident of the area, Andrea graduated from Rhea County High School; where she earned an academic scholarship to Roane State Community College in Harriman. There she achieved an associate degree and worked as a Radiology Tech for several years. Andrea liked to play pool, collect coins and also tried her hand at quilting. She also loved to hunt deer and turkeys. Andrea loved her family; especially her daughter Chloe. She attended Spring City United Methodist Church.

Andrea was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Arthur Gilliam, maternal grandparents Dale C Kile and Betty Lou Shelby, her uncle Tim Kile and her cousin Casey Kile.

Survivors include her daughter Chloe B. Barger, her father Howard Gilliam, her mother and step father Sandy and Garry Morgan, her sister Rhonda (Scott) Gross and her grandmother Pearl S. Gilliam all of Spring City, TN. Andrea is also survived by several aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Funeral services for Andrea will be Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 2:00pm at the Spring City Methodist Church with Rev. Dave Grant officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring City Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 until 2pm.
