One hundred-year-old Andrea Marie Lind Hyde went peacefully to be with her Lord on October 5, 2022. She was born on December 18, 1921, in Ilion, NY to Bernhard and Dorothy Willets Lind, grew up in Jamestown, NY where she graduated from Jamestown High School and WCA Hospital School of Nursing. She enlisted in the US Army during WWII and was stationed in England. There she met her husband, A. Bert Hyde. They settled in Sandusky, Ohio where they owned SanBay Chemical & Supply Company. She was an active member of the Columbus Avenue United Methodist Church. She moved to Crossville, TN with her only daughter in 2014 and lived at the Good Samaritan facility.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and her husband. She is survived by one brother, Herbert “Skip” Lind (Louann); daughter, Lynne Hyde Schwaberow (Edward); 3 grandchildren, Chad Schwaberow (Katherine), Jamie Schwaberow (Ivory), and Andrea Eads (Jeff); and 8 great-grandchildren, Savannah, Sierra, Emma, and Quinn Schwaberow plus Madilyn, Jack, Dorothy, and Guster Eads.

A service will be planned for a later date. Interment of Ashes will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Jamestown, NY.
