Ann Elizabeth Scoggins 66, of Spring City, Tennessee passed away Tuesday August 11, 2026 at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton, Tennessee.

She was born March 15, 1960, in Morristown, Tennessee to the late John and JoAnn StandiferPowell. Ann was a graduate of Rhea County High School. She worked for several years at Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center and retired from the Audrey Pack Memorial Library in Spring City. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Spring City. Ann enjoyed needlework and puzzles, but her heart was happiest when she was with her church family. She loved attending church activities where she found fellowship and a deep sense of community rooted in her faith.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Bill Scoggins.

Ann is survived by her daughters; Mary Ann Minton of Spring City, Tennessee and Lacey Mahan of Rockwood, Tennessee. Her brother Estle Powell of Garland, Texas; her sister Carol (David) Hatela of Blue Springs, Missouri and her six grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Monday August 17, 2026 at 12PM at Faith Baptist Church 198 Clacks Crossing Lane Spring City, Tennessee with Rev. Tim Giddens officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Monday August 17, 2026 from 10AM until 12PM. Interment will be at Bald Hill Cemetery in Birchwood, Tennessee.
