Mr. Arland Wayne Whitlock, age 83, of Lenoir City, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 16th, 2025.

 He is survived by his wife of 6 years, Debra Whitlock; son Steve Whitlock (Bing Shang); daughters Beth Eno, Dorothy Rader (Jamie), and Dawn Taylor (John); grandchildren Dani Randall (Jordan), Alex, Kyle, and Luke Whitlock. Benjamin and Aubrey Taylor; and brother Whitlock (Anita).

Preceded in death by his parents Roland and Judah McAfee Whitlock, and wife of 44 years Peggy Beal Whitlock.

Former member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church in Knoxville and Spring City Baptist Church. Arland spent his career as a dam engineer with TVA in their reservoir operations division.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th, from 5-7pm EST in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, TN. Arland will lie in state at Caney Branch Baptist Church n Morrison, TN on Saturday, January 25th, from 10-11am CST. Interment services will be held at 11am CST at Caney Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, (40 Carl Hulett Rd. Morrison, TN 37357).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Arland’s memory to Second Harvest Food Bank of East TN. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Arland Wayne Whitlock.
