Wayne County deputies arrested Joshua T. Gregory of Monticello, Kentucky, on a warrant for four counts of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, first-offense trafficking in fentanyl derivatives and trafficking in less than eight ounces of marijuana.

The arrest is part of a continuing drug investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office begun in November 2018, when Gregory was charged with first-degree trafficking in more than two grams of meth, first-offense trafficking in heroin, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and possession of a defaced firearm. Gregory is being held in the Wayne County Detention Center.
