AT LEAST TWO ARRESTED IN MURFREESBORO FOLLOWING PROTESTS

Protests in Murfreesboro yesterday led to a state of emergency declaration and a curfew set in place for last night. Police deployed tear gas at the intersection of East Main and Middle Tennessee Boulevard, where protesters were blocking the area. Officers said an armored police truck was vandalized. Two were arrested after violating the curfew. There were no reports of any injuries to police.
