Bradley County authorities say Charles Garrett is charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder following a shooting at a TBOW’s Tavern and Spring Place Road early this morning. Witnesses said a fight broke out between Garrett and a bar employee, Jordan Myers. During the physical altercation, a patron inside, Xavier Rouse was reportedly shot by Garrett. He was taken to Tennova Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The attempted murder charge was based on Garrett’s confrontation with Myers. Garrett fled the scene but later taken into custody at Spring Lake Apartments.
