Funeral services for Betty Jean Lyons, age 79, of Edmonton, Kentucky, will be Friday, April 5, at 2 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Family Cemetery in Edmonton, Kentucky. Family will receive friends after 3 p.m. Thursday, April 4, until the funeral hour on Friday. Survivors include children, Velma England of Edmonton, Kentucky, Amanda Morgan of Cave City, Kentucky, Zebbie Perkins of Flint, Michigan, Greg Perkins of Columbia, Kentucky, and Gracie Burden of Glasgow, Kentucky; stepdaughters, Stella Hornback of New Haven, Kentucky, and Amanda Lyons of Eastview, Kentucky; siblings, Charles Brown and Gladys Smith, both of Edmonton, Kentucky; 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Norris-New Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
