Kyker – Betty Jo Tilley of the Paint Rock Community Roane County Tn. passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025 at her home. Born November 25,1934. She was a member of Cedar Fork Baptist Church. She spent 34 years working with the Roane County School System at Paint Rock and Midway Schools. Among her many talents she was a wonderful cook and a friend to everyone. She is preceded in death by her husband: James W. (Bill) Tilley, parents: Mary Kate and Ulis Galyon, and her sister: Phyllis Largen Moore. Survivors are her nephew: David and wife Jeannie Largen. Her great niece Stephanie and James Hubbard, great nephews Michael and Stacey Largen, Donald and Barbara Largen. 6 great- great nieces and nephews. 1 Great-great- great nephew. Many close friends. A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at the Paint Rock Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. James Mason Officiating.
