Betty Joyce Fritts Edwards, age 94 of Harriman, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at her home with her family by her side. She was born on January 22, 1931, in Rockwood. She worked for many years in the laundry department at the old Rockwood Healthcare Center. She was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband: Chester H Edwards; parents: James Edward & Oma Keith Fritts; sister: Mary Margaret Brummitt; granddaughter: Stephanie Edwards Hinds; and son-in-law: Jim Huddleston. She is survived by:

Sons: James Edwards (Mary)

Mike “Bubba” Edwards (Linda)

Grandchildren: Heather Morgan (Danny), Chad Booger Miles (Ali), Cody Anderson (Rebecca), Jamie Heffron (Jonah), Michelle Hunt (Tyler), Shelley Wilder (Jacob)

Great Grandchildren: Elijah Miles, Olivia Anderson, Kaylee Hinds, Kolten Hinds, Kennedi Hinds, Brooklyn Heffron

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 pm ET in Rockwood, TN. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm ET with Pastor Jeff Parrott officiating.
