Davis – Ms. Bettye (Smith) Coffman, age 80, of Oakdale passed away Saturday May 10, 2025, at Roane Medical Center in Harriman. She was a member of the Rankins Chapel Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. Bettye worked and retired from JC Penny’s in Oak Ridge.

She is preceded in death by her husband: James Coffman

Parents: B.G. & Pauline Smith.

She is survived by one son: Dwight Coffman.

One daughter: Michelle Coffman.

Brother & sister-in-law: Bert & Teresa Smith.

Sisters & brother-in-law: Rhema Alley, and Sandy & Johnny Goldston.

Three grandchildren: Taylor, Krysti, and Caleb and his wife Sara.

Three great grandchildren: Madelin, Caden, and Camille.

Along with several nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

The family will receive friends Thursday May 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman. Graveside services will follow in Rankin Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Chuck Wilber officiating.
