Bill Walden Jr., age 78, of Kingston, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2026 at his home.  He was born September 27, 1947 in Rockwood to the late Bill & Jessie Gordon Walden.  He loved his family and was always very protective of them.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting for ginseng, traveling, playing solitaire, rook, and various other card games.  His favorite dessert was coconut cake.  Bill had worked several jobs throughout his life including truck driving, logger, and a great mechanic.  He also did paint & body work.  He had worked as a farm hand also for Tri State Auction.  Bill is preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Sue Walden; parents, Bill & Jessie Walden; brothers, George Ed & Rusty Walden; nephew, Eric Farmer; mother-in-law, Frankie Childs and brother-in-law, Eddie Childs.

Graveside service will be held 12:00 noon, Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Poplar Springs Cemetery with Rev. Max Cronan officiating.  In lieu of flowers the family ask for memorial contributions to be made to Fraker Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.  Online register book can be signed atwww.frakerfuneralhome.net.  Fraker Funeral Home of Kingston is in charge of all the arrangements.
