Bobbie Jo Clements (Woodward), 52
Bobbie Jo Clements (Woodward), age 52, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12,
2025, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on November 18, 1973, in
Oneida, Tennessee, to Jim and Judy Woodward. She was a lifelong resident of Harriman,
Tennessee. She graduated from Roane County High School in 1992. After graduating
highschool, she attended Tennessee Tech, graduating with a Bachelors in Multidisciplinary
Studies. Later, she received her Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She spent the
bulk of her career at Rockwood High School teaching various English courses as well as
running the Journalism program. Some of her biggest accomplishments include partnering with
Small Town Network to create a podcast and being an instrumental part in having Rockwood
designated as a STEM academy. Her calling from God was always teaching. Through this, she
developed lifelong friendships and positively influenced the lives of thousands of students during
her tenure. Bobbie was also a devout Christian and member of First Baptist Concord.
Bobbie met the love of her life, Micheal Clements, in 1983, when he moved to Casey Road and
became her neighbor. They started out as childhood friends, which quickly blossomed into a
beautiful love story. They married on December 14, 1996, in Harriman, Tennessee. For
twenty-nine years, through sickness and in health, their love only grew stronger. They welcomed
their first child, Colt, in 1999, and their second child, Trinity, two years later in 2001. Bobbie
adored being a mother and loved to talk about them to anyone who would listen. She was their
biggest fan at the ball fields and in life. She also cherished being Bobs to her two grandsons,
Beau and Boone, until her last breath.
Bobbie was preceded in death by: mother-Judy Woodward, and father in law-Tim Clements; and
is survived by: husband-Micheal Clements; children-Colt Clements (Delaney) and Trinity
Clements; grandchildren-Beau Clements and Boone Clements; father-Jim Woodward;
brother-John Woodward (Regina); mother in law-Minnie Clements; sister in law-Wendy Cline
(Matt); brother in law-Randy Clements (Chris); nephews-Layden Cline and Jonathan Woodward;
nieces-Caylen Cline and Breelyn Lowe.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Kyker Funeral Home of KIngston, funeral to follow at 8:00. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday for 11:00 a.m. gravside service at Oak Grove Cemetery. Kyker Funeral Home is serving the Clements Family.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Survivors Helping Others Cope Cancer
