Bobby Dent Husband Jr, age 58 of Rockwood, passed away on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026, at his home. He was born on February 5th, 1968, in Mississippi. Bobby was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was an avid fisherman. When he was able, he loved nothing more than to be with his friends and family on the water. He enjoyed watching cooking and classic car shows, was a big fan of “Moonshiners TV show, and always reluctantly washed the silverware for his daughter, but he did to make her happy. He is preceded in death by his parents: Bobby D. Husband Sr & Nellie Imogene Husband; sister: Bernida Wolfe; and father-in-law: Douglas B. Williams. He is survived by:

Wife: Melissa Husband

Children: Amber Potter, Hayley Potter, Nellie Husband, and Elizabeth Husband

Stepchildren: Christopher Wright, Chelsea Williams

Grandchildren: Cole Potter, Destiny Walker, Jacob Wolfe, Emory Chambers, Brantley Chambers, Dawson Chambers, and Brianna Elliott

Sister: Jeannie Flaherty and husband, Michael, and Cathy Kennedy

Brothers: Danny Husband, Brad Husband

Special Nieces and Nephews: Kelly Miller, Mavis Miller, GT Miller, Christine Van Hook, Brian Yazzie, Tyler Kennedy and Colleen Kennedy

Mother-in-law: Claudette Williams

Extended family: Lisa Miller, Lewis Elliott, James Chambers, and Nick Shelton

along with several other family members and friends.

Tentative arrangements: The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 11th, 2026, from 11:00 am -1:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Funeral services will then be held with Bro. Bobby Lee officiating. Graveside and interment services to follow in the Glen Alice Cemetery in Rockwood, TN.
